Refunds,
without the runaround.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 working days of an approved return.
When you'll be refunded
- Within 7 days of delivery — full refund per our returns policy
- Damaged on arrival — full refund or free replacement, your choice
- Cancelled before dispatch — 100% refund, processed within 24 hours
- Cancelled after dispatch — once the return reaches us, full refund (less actual shipping cost in some cases)
How long it takes
Once we approve a refund:
- UPI / wallets — instant to 1 working day
- Credit/debit cards — 3-5 working days (depends on your bank)
- Net banking — 2-4 working days
- COD orders — refund via UPI or bank transfer, processed within 3 working days
Partial refunds
Rarely needed. If a returned print arrives damaged due to repacking by the customer, we may issue a partial refund. We'll always tell you upfront if this applies.
Not refundable
- Custom-sized prints commissioned for you
- Prints returned without their original tube/packaging
- Returns initiated after 7 days from delivery
Disputes
If something doesn't seem right, write to hello@paintthescene.com with your order number. We respond within one working day.
