Paint the Scene is an editor-curated art-print house, born in 2026 with a single conviction: that beautiful, archival prints shouldn't cost the same as the furniture they sit above.
The idea
We started Paint the Scene because we kept walking into Indian homes that were thoughtful in every way — except their walls. Beautiful sofas, considered lighting, a well-curated coffee table — and then a poster bought in 2014 still tacked above it.
The art-print market in India is mostly two things: cheap dropship knock-offs from Instagram ads, or import-priced framed editions from foreign galleries. Nothing in the middle. Nothing curated. Nothing that feels like it was made by someone who actually thinks about your room.
The studio
Blink Studio is our in-house design team — every issue, we shortlist hundreds of works and publish a single curated edition. Some are originals from our studio, some are public-domain masterworks we've cleaned, retouched, and given new life. We reject more than we keep.
Each print is pulled in our atelier on a calibrated archival press. 250 GSM matte cotton paper. Pigment ink rated for 100+ years of light-fastness. No dropshipping, no middlemen. Your print is made the day you order it.
